Stop 5: Austin, Texas

We arrived in Austin to meet our friends, the Whelans, from Indiana (they lived in Indiana when we were at Notre Dame, but now they live in Waco, Texas). We hadn't seen them in 7 years and we forgot to take a picture of them. We ate Texas BBQ then watched the bats fly out from under the congress bridge. Then we stayed in the best motel ever and went swimming at 10:30 pm! we woke up and at another Man vs. Food stop called Juan in a Million (they do breakfast tacos).

    That looks like a wonderful hotel!! I wish I was traveling with you all. It looks like a lot of fun. What day to you arrive in CA?
